A GEO strategy that turns AI into revenue.
Tactics without a plan is noise. Our GEO strategy service turns your audit into a quarter-by-quarter plan. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the practice of getting cited inside AI answers, and the strategy decides which queries to win, which content to produce, which authority signals to build, and how each move is measured on the platform.

What a GEO strategy actually decides
A GEO strategy decides which questions you compete on and in what order, under one hard constraint: a typical AI answer names one to three sources, against ten organic results on a page of Google. The shortlist is short, so a plan spread over every topic wins nothing. The decisions come from a measured map. An audit runs your query portfolio against the engines with three prompting styles, direct, step-by-step and example-led, because the same question asked three ways does not always return the same sources, and a semantic gap analysis names the topics competitors cover and you do not. Two bounds are worth stating: the portfolio needs at least 50 queries before the numbers mean anything, and the plan ranks opportunities by purchase intent and citation gap rather than promising any of them.
How is a GEO strategy different from an SEO strategy?
An SEO strategy competes for a position among ten organic results; a GEO strategy competes to be one of the one to three sources an AI answer names. Everything follows from that difference in shelf space. Questions replace keywords, because people write full sentences to an assistant. Citable assets matter more than backlinks alone. And the headline metric becomes Share of Model, the share of AI answers on a theme that mention your brand, read globally, engine by engine and on 30, 60 and 90 day trends, since there is no position inside a generated answer. Read it for what it is: Share of Model is computed on the queries you configured, so it measures your portfolio rather than your whole market.
Why a GEO strategy is revised every month
A GEO strategy is revised monthly because the measurement itself is noisy: engines are non-deterministic, the same query rerun does not return the same sources, and a move of about five points on the GEO Score is normal fluctuation rather than a result. We repeat each query, smooth the score against its history, and treat a change as meaningful only past a much wider threshold, around twenty points. Reading that signal needs a cadence, hence an audit at least every two weeks and a plan re-prioritized from what those audits show, the useful work shifting with the score from technical foundations at the bottom of the scale to defending positions at the top. What a revision cannot do alone is attribute a change, since a model update can shift which sources an engine favours with nothing changed on your site.
Your GEO team, without thehiring
A dedicated GEO lead, a content and technical crew, and a shared board where you approve and track every action. The same people, month after month: an extension of your team, not a vendor you have to chase.
We knew AI answers were sending buyers to our competitors, and nobody in-house had time to own it. Citeme became that team: audit, content, technical fixes, reporting. We just approve on the board. Gemini now cites us on the queries that matter.

Questions about this service
See if AI cites meAn SEO strategy chases rankings on keywords in a list of blue links. A GEO strategy chases citations inside AI answers, which changes what you prioritize at every level. Questions replace keywords, because people phrase full sentences to an assistant and strip them down to fragments only for a search box. Citable assets matter more than backlinks alone. And the headline metric becomes Share of Model, your share of AI citations, rather than positions, since there is no position in a generated answer: either your brand is among the two or three named, or it is absent from the conversation entirely. The two strategies complement each other rather than compete, and the overlap is usually larger than teams expect. Your strongest SEO pages frequently need restructuring rather than replacement to become the source an engine quotes.
